High Desert Church (HDC) aimed to provide its congregation with a powerful reminder of their mission as Christ followers through its values series. We engaged in meaningful discussions about the church’s values and our calling as Christians, and offered the chance to purchase a shirt or mug to serve as a tangible reminder of our shared mission. The ultimate goal was to create a lasting impact by providing a physical item that would serve as a consistent reminder of their mission beyond just attending weekend services.

Our team was able to swiftly set up the store and receive prompt assistance whenever we encountered any issues or uncertainties. The ability to directly communicate with a dedicated support team was an immensely valuable advantage over other print-on-demand services, which we have used extensively in the past.

The launch of the store was fun. We first shared it with the church staff, enabling them to test and familiarize themselves with the store’s features and troubleshoot any potential issues. It was gratifying to witness the staff’s reactions and see which designs they gravitated towards. Once the store was officially launched, we were delighted to observe which designs the congregation preferred, adding to the excitement of the entire process.

The congregation’s enthusiastic response to the store and their subsequent orders provided a significant boost of momentum for us. It was heartening to witness their deep engagement and ownership in the values series, as demonstrated by their eagerness to purchase the shirts (even though we had set the prices to make no profit). The availability of such a robust resource has been an incredible gift, particularly given that it did not place any additional strain on our staff’s time or resources.
